For the second consecutive year Endoline Machinery, which is available in Australia through Walls Machinery, has walked away with the top Packaging Solutions accolade at the recent Food Processing Awards.
The company scooped the acclaimed award as a result of an efficient end of line packing system installed within Oaklands Farm Eggs, which has assisted the elite egg producer in packing over 1.4 million eggs per day. The prestigious win also marks the end of a triumphant year within the egg market for Endoline with over 40% of ALL export sales over the last 12 months generated from this industry.
Working in tandem with Moba – the global solutions provider of egg grading, packing and processing equipment – for both this award winning packaging line and a preceding line within another Oaklands plant has led to a number of projects where both companies have combined their individual strengths providing solutions without compromise within egg producing companies in Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and the Ukraine. Significantly this ongoing collaboration further emphasizes Moba’s belief that Endoline manufacturers professional erectors that have the capability of dealing with the high volume of production whilst working in conjunction with Moba’s machinery. Paul Buisman, Product Manager from Moba commented: “Egg handling plants can operate up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with very high throughput volumes so robust and reliable machinery is paramount to this industry. The Endoline equipment consistently delivers to a high specification offering ease of use when integrated into an egg production line alongside our grading machines.”
Awards organiser and editor of Food Processing magazine David Strydom commented on Endoline’s win: “It’s not often a company wins the same award two years running, but Endoline has managed it. In the process, the company has defeated some big names in the industry such as Ishida Europe and Rexam. The reason isn’t hard to find: good, quality case studies, such as Endoline’s work with Oaklands Farm Eggs, have proved its mettle, particularly in a tough economic climate.
Endoline’s MD and Chairman Alan Yates comments on his company’s win: “I do believe that the success of this line, and our subsequent relationship with Moba, is testament to our decision to remain a UK based company – designing and building our machines in-house often to a bespoke specification to meet individual customer needs. I am extremely proud of the team here and this win is demonstrates the high standards which they consistently deliver.”
These annual awards, which celebrate all aspects of the food processing industry including automation, hygiene solution, packaging machinery environmental solution, are organised by Food Processing magazine.
